Um ... duh?

Apparently, Secretary Gates suffered a major BFO (a Blinding Flash of the Obvious for the great unwashed) on this morning’s edition of Meet the Press.

GATES: I think that probably President Obama is somewhat more analytical, and he makes sure he hears from everybody in the room on an issue. And if they don’t speak up, he calls on them.

Q: A marked difference from his predecessor?

GATES: President Bush was interested in hearing different points of view but didn’t go out of his way to make sure everybody spoke if they hadn’t spoken up before.

In other news, water is wet, the sky is blue and “Raphael Alexander” is an assumed identity.

But you already knew that.

It's a miracle Bush Inc. didn't find a way to start a nuclear war over 9/11.

They tried that with Iran and Iraq. Fortunately, by the time they got around to flapping at Iran, the world knew the US was on the verge of bankruptcy.
