A Conservative cabinet minister in the making.

Quoth Blogging Tory "Splatto":

Tonight at the all candidates debate, our Liberal MP stacked about 8 of the 12 or so questioners with canned questions. “But what about arts funding?” asked one person. Right, because that’s such a big issue in York Centre, the riding that stretches a stones throw away from Jane and Finch, the notorious neighbourhood where many of Toronto’s more high profile shootings of recent years have occurred.

No, no, no ... too wordy ... let me tighten that up a bit for you, Splatto, old boy:

"Niggers and art? As if."

Yeah, that reads better, doesn't it?

Also a stone's throw away - one of the biggest universities in the country, York University. As in, it's actually on the boundary of York West and Centre.

And having lived in York West, I can say that any sort of funding would be appreciated (Finch road washed out once and took 8 months to fix...and this is a major road near major highways) by those that live there.

Hey, don't Universities have arts programs and galleries?

Also, wouldn't an after school program that teaches kids from not nice neighborhoods to make films, or draw or write stories about their lives not give them something to do?

WAIT! WHAT AM I SAYING! Clearly the CPC plan is to arrest people for pre-crimes.
