Biting the head off a live child on camera might have helped, too.

Shorter Mark Steyn: "If only John McCain had been more cranky, crotchety and ill-tempered on national television, things would have been different, let me tell you."

And then, Mark "Pit" Stain gets schooled.

Good God, why do the corporates keep doling out the welfare to such poor-quality wingnuts? Kate McMillan could do better than this.

Please, NRO...hire her! Oh, right...her laughing at Holocaust victims makes her unemployable down South.

It wouldn't even occur to Steyn that McCain wouldn't say those things about Obama because not all Americans are idiots and think everything left of Attila the Hun is bad.

I once went to a rustic-styled restaurant in Windsor, Ont, that had provincial flags hanging from the rafters. Being the kind of person that I am, I asked the waitress to match the provinces to the flags. She couldn't; neither could the reinforcements.

What makes this relevant today is that Barack Obama made a speech in Toledo, Ohio, this week. Mixed in with the American flags, was the state flag of Ohio. To me, simple-minded as I am, I always saw a bull's eye in the middle of a pennant. But the talk radio host of a New York City radio station rightly spotted the letter "O" in the middle of the pennant, and intuited that Obama had designed and produced his own flag.

"Now, these are symptom -- these things are symptomatic of a person who would like to be a potentate -- a dictator. And I really see this in this man," he said. http://mediamatters.org/items/200810160022?f=h_latest

Wow. Mark Steyn should go back to being an Islamophobe before he becomes totally irrelevant.
