Sometimes, the irony could just kill.

The Blogging Tories' Brian Lemon is all about the journalistic integrity and whatnot:

Fisk of Latest Toronto Star Nonsense

It is said that if an infinite number of monkeys typed away on an infinite number of typewriters that one would eventually write Hamlet. Sorta reminds me of a lot of the content in the Toronto Star. For sure, little of their content is Hamlet, and most is on the factual standard of said lower form primates...

Doesn't The Star have anyone with half a brain read stuff like this before they publish it?

Yes, Brian ... because when it comes to meticulous journamalism, you are just the person to be lecturing to the rest of us.

Sometimes, I wish I had absolutely no memory of what happened before my last bowel movement. Blogging would be so easy.

The irony hurts; right from his first point, where David Olive writes "tradition" and Lemon responds "genetic? ridiculous!".

Basement Dweller v. Basement Dweller. Wow. My life is so much more complete after this post.

What the fuck's she on about?

Anyway, it's this "conceited ignorance" that has me worried; it's OK to disagree with someone but this arrogance of the patently stupid is troubling. He reads "communal" and insists it means "socialist" or "communist?"

Maybe he'll post something soon about the Philistines, who are forever in conflict with Israel.

Yes, I made that joke the other day, but it seems appropriate here, and I'm out of material.
