Since we're on the topic ...
As we already discussed back here, Canada’s New Government™ has done away with the National Science Adviser ... no doubt because of its icky, sciencey implications. But worry not.
In a joint effort, Big Daddy and our favourite Parliamentary creationist have decided to take over the position.

Anybody else think that Beaker looks like Peter MacKay?
I think he looks more Tony Clement. But why quibble...they're all hideous, except the ones who aren't decorative flora...Rona, Helena, Josée and Maxime.
Beaker, as a matter of fact, is a dead ringer for John Manley.
