Irony: Because it's part of a balanced breakfast.

Apparently, the same Blogging Tories who couldn't wait to tell us all about Iran and Jews and badges are thoroughly ticked off because -- can you believe it? -- the mainstream media can't be trusted.

If I just had a blanket and a ball, I could have such fun ...

P.S. I particularly enjoy Alberta Ardvark's take on this:

I think that this will get some play in the MSM tomorrow, but Reuters will claim they were duped, apologize and expect it to go away after a day or so.

And wouldn't that be just like that damned liberal media -- to 'fess up to being hoaxed and apologize for it? When, as we all know, the proper course of action would be to bluster incessantly, smear the accusers, then suddenly change the subject and hope no one notices. After all, that's the Blogging Tory thing to do.

The point isn't that the "Evil, Black-hearted" MSM hates conservatives and Jews and wants to smear them - the problem is they aren't being careful with their sources. It's not an active anti-Israel bias on the part of the MSM at work here, it's their shoddy source checking.

Journalism is a job like any other - sometimes people just do shoddy work.

I am glad you enjoyed my take on this, you missed the point entirely, but I am glad you enjoyed it.

And to anon, the ardvark spelling thing was done on purpose.
